Orange is a strategy that combines the strength of two—yellow and red—to create the brilliance of another, Orange. By combining the critical influences of the light of the church (yellow) and the love of the family (red), the Orange strategy synchronizes efforts and shows a generation who God is, more effectively than either could alone!

We know that it takes more than a few hours each week to teach a student to love and follow Jesus Christ. Parents are the greatest influence in a child’s life. We only get a few hours each week to teach your student about who God is, but you, their parents, have many, many more!

That is why we believe that what happens in the home is more important than what happens at church. Our goal in Breakaway then is to come alongside you and support you as you lead your students. We want to partner with you in this journey God has given you as parents.

Another part of the Orange strategy is the XP3 curriculum.

The goal of XP3 is simply helping teenagers
to have a lasting understanding of three things:

We believe that the two combined influences of church and home, make a greater impact than just the two influences separately.
One of the ways we partner with parents is through the Parent Cue that is provided for each teaching series.
The Parent Cue is where both parents and students can have a point of conversation about the subject matter and learn from each other. This is delivered to parents via email.
Your middle school student is ready for this season of massive change, but the question is…are YOU?
We want to recommend an eight-part video series, led by Pastor Billy Phenix of Buckhead Church in Atlanta, Georgia. He walks through the new and different needs, wants, and make-up of your child at this specific age.
This is a resource for you, your spouse, or a group of parents as you navigate this season of change together.
